“Climbing the stairs with cerebral palsy is a bit challenging for me.. I sometimes wonder how great it'll feel to be able to run up and down the stairs within seconds.. It's these little things that people take for granted that matter the most to me!
I have to put so much effort and strength to just come up the stairs but guess what?? I'm still grateful that I'm able to do this because I know that some people can't.. I thank God for every little accomplishment because I have worked extremely hard for it!!
Start appreciating everything that you can do and stop complaining about what you can't do. What you take for granted could be someone else's dream. Like walking is my biggest dream and most people take that for granted.. When you have to work extremely hard to achieve the easiest milestones you know how important they are!
Fun fact: March is national cerebral palsy awareness month 💚 Did you know that CP is the most common motor disability in childhood!! We are strong cerebral palsy warriors.” 💪💚 - @tajias_journey
