Shortly after our youngest daughter, Ava, was diagnosed with Williams Syndrome at 14.5 months old, we started a journal and an Instagram account to share our story and make sense of it all.
But it ended up turning into something greater.
We ended up connecting with special needs families all around the world, and began sharing their stories, too. Because even though their lives are hard at times, the positive life lessons that we learn from others’ experiences is something that we want the whole world to hear.
But sometimes, we need more than just emotional support. We need financial support, too, for medical costs, care, special items, and more.
That’s why we decided to create Outshine Labels, an online marketplace for disability advocates that helps families like mine, earn extra money for their families. We also partner with nonprofits within the disability space too - to help them sell merchandise that builds awareness and funds their mission!
By reading our Blog and following us on social media, it's our hope that you will be moved beyond measure as you read these inspiring stories of hope, compassion, kindness, love, and everything in between. And it is our hope that you will help us continue to support this incredible community by shopping our marketplace, too.
