Meet Nico — 1 of 11 diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called Chedda Syndrome. His Mama and I met through our mutual genetics doctor, who thought that since we were both rare mamas on a mission to change the world’s perceptions about “different”…well, I guess she thought we’d like each other? And boy, was she right! Thanks Dr. Lindstrom!⁣ ⁣ Anyways, tonight - just in time for the holiday’s, I launched Nico’s Store on @outshinelabels! I’m SUPER excited by both their products and the fact that 60% of the profits will go to them as long as Rainbow Seeker sells! No caps, no terms, no conditions! ⁣ ⁣ So what’s with the quote? Get ready because you’re going to LOVE the meaning behind Rainbow Seeker.⁣ ⁣ This design stems from a promise María made to herself, that in the middle of every storm she would always look for the rainbows on the journey. Having a medically complex child like Nico means many complications and hospital stays and reminding herself of this phrase has has helped her find joy in the journey. ⁣ ⁣ So if you’re in the middle of a storm right now yourself, try to look for the rainbows and not get caught up in the rain. Oh! Wait a minute…I do believe we’re all in the middle of a pandemic right now, so you have every reason to buy for both yourself AND everyone on your Christmas list! But seriously, keep this last bit in mind…⁣ ⁣ María is saving up for a Conversion Van, complete with a wheelchair ramp. It’d sure make her life easier because if you haven’t noticed she’s very petite and Nico keeps growing and growing!
